New Mid To Low End Mac Webcamera Choices at www.uvccompatiblewebcams.com

Guillemot Corporation is a designer and manufacturer of accessories for PC and game consoles, offering a wide range of diversified products under the long-known brand names: Hercules for video conferencing, audio and WiFi products - and Thrustmaster for PC and console accessories. Their support for UVC - USB Video Class specs in their more recent web cam models is a shift in the right direction. CHECK OUT THIS -> Infinite UVC Webcam. This new model pushes the native UVC sensor webcam resolution to 2 megapixels (and includes a built-in microphone) at the 'Top-End' of thier Dual Pix product line manages to stay in the <$60 USD range.

In a nutshell, Guillemot is providing Mac compatible webcams. But while not explicitly stating Apple compatibility or support anywhere on their website or system requirements -- At least they're clearly labeling their products as USB 2.0 Video Class compliance on the front of the packaging, and that gives Apple Macintosh users a few more video chat cam options. It's nice to see a well-known manufacturer compete with Creative Labs and Logitech webcams in the tier above them.
